Who Are We A team of specialists collaborating with international consultants, developers, contractors and equipment manufacturers, each in his field to provide a complete EPC service for land based wind turbines and offshore energy extraction systems.
The renewable energy systems are complement with conventional electric power generation to maintain needed output irrespective of availability of renewable energy sources. The most promising renewable energy sources are: Marine, Wind, and Solar. The nature of these energy sources and technical developments pave the way to which system is most suited for the prevailing local conditions.A Coordinate Offshore Energy Extraction system is proposed consisting of the following:
Construction Unit Description
The CU is of modular construction measuring 22.0 by 22.5 meters, spaced at 2-meters in each direction, installed with its bottom at 6-meters below MSL and with a dry deck at 6-meters above MSL and a ceiling 3-meter high. The CU provides support and space for all related equipment. The CU’s are arranged in saw tooth configuration and are up to 1-Km wide. Wind EnergyLand based Wind Farms have considerable objections due to, land areas, access roads, noise pollution (whining noise) that affect milk production from cows, are a safety hazard to birds, and the problem of providing access roads for heavy equipment reaching the site for installing heavy lifts, maintenance and operation. They also need right of way for overhead lines and/or underground cables to load centers that are usually away from the WT. Worldwide trend is to install high power WTG in the range of 5 MW and above which is required for large number of customers, for industrial customers or to feed into the public utility network. The trend is to install WT at offshore areas.Once an offshore Wind Farm is planned, it is worth investigating utilization of the offshore area to devise a Coordinated Offshore Energy Extraction (COEE) system to extract maximum renewable energy from wind, sea waves, tidal energy, solar and deep sea cold water.A detailed description is shown by attached file. The COEE/REWGD system provides such coordinated offshore energy extraction system Wave EnergyA Float with 2-meter diameter and a height of 1-m following wave undulations, develops an uplift force of 3.14 tons directly transfers buoyant uplift to drive: 1.Water pumps to pump a small quantity of water to a high head, collect and feed it to a Hydro-Turbo Generator to produce electric power at 3-phase and required voltage and frequency. Figure - 6 One HTG operating at water Total Dynamic Head (TDH) of 65 meters and generating electric power at required voltage and frequency is provided for each of 11, 16 or 21-Construction Units. 2.A variable speed “Isosync” VSG Generator to produce electric power at 3-phase and required voltage and frequency Figure – 6, without the need for rectifiers/chargers and invertors. Tidal EnergyTidal Energy is one of the most promising as it is practically available 20 out of 24 hours all year round, irrespective of availability of Wind or Waves, and gives the highest KW-Hours per year. Solar EnergySolar Energy is proposed by installing PV panels at the roof of the “Construction Unit” which has an area of 495 square meters. The roof of the CU is already there and paid for. Sea Water Air ConditioningThe Mediterranean Sea is like an ocean with water depths up to 3,000 meters are close to the shore line which allows efficient utilization of deep sea cold water for Air Conditioning..The proximity to the shore line of sea water at 3.9 Degrees Celsius and large air conditioning loads makes SWAC a practical project. The Thermocline of water temperature VS sea water depth is shown in Figure – 1. Wave Power Leveling Physical layout of the “Construction Units” with other means provide excellent wave output power leveling for the whole wave cycle of 360 degrees. Competitors There is no comparable system on the market. a.Not for Wave Energy Extraction. b.Not for Ebb/Tide Energy Extraction. c.Not for Wind Turbine Energy Extraction, Land Based or Offshore. d.Not for Coordinated Offshore Energy Extraction. e.Not for VSG-USA “Isosync” Generator.
COEE System Output
The COEE system provides maximum energy extraction from a sea surface area compared to any other system112 MW are extracted from an offshore area measuring 0.225 square kilometers. This is equivalent to 1.12 MW or 427,610,872 KW-Hours per 10 meters of sea front. It provides an economical and efficient and maximized energy extraction system with ease of construction, maintenance and operation. It also provides new direct ways to extract energy namely the VSG-USA generator and the direct drive system for wave, wind and tidal energy extraction. The output depends upon sea and wind states.
